Coverage

Dataset

Proprietary collected and processed domain, web, WHOIS and IP data from public registrar, website and search sources. Coverage and freshness vary by report.

Access

Installation and deployment

Website · Locally installable · Self-hosted

Research and dataset provided as a web service. Optional MCP adapter runs locally or on your own server with Node.js 20+ and an API key. This does not self-host the DomainIQ dataset.

Requirements

Limited free reports as a guest. A paid account is required for larger allowances. The API documentation names all paid accounts, whereas the FAQ specifies Enterprise or access on request.

Export

API output in XML, JSON, CSV or INI, depending on the function; file retrieval is available. The MCP standardises available API results.

Provider

Interfaces

API

Available. HTTP API with an API key and the same report limits as on the web. Access conditions are inconsistent: the documentation names all paid accounts, while the FAQ specifies Enterprise or access on request.

MCP

Available. The provider's MCP adapter uses an existing DomainIQ API key. Runs locally through stdio or on your own server through HTTP; permissions and allowances remain unchanged.

AI agents

Available. Official setup for Claude Code, GitHub Copilot and other MCP clients such as Cline. The data still comes from the DomainIQ API.

Usage note

Content may be republished or incorporated into your own products only with the provider's prior written consent.

Limitations

  • Historical and automatically collected data may be outdated, incomplete or incorrectly associated.
  • Shared infrastructure and similar registrant details alone do not establish common control.
  • API eligibility is described inconsistently; the MCP uses the same access and account limits.
